We have plenty of free parking available for events, with good access links to the A23. Owners and Trainers Lounge

The Owners & Trainers Lounge is one of our most popular meeting rooms, boasting beautiful views of the racetrack and winning post. Located on the first floor of the Southdown Stand, there is an inbuilt projector and screen within this facility, which also connects to the TV Screens fixed on the walls. Our five Southdown Stand private boxes are adjacent to the Owners & Trainers Lounge, providing extra space ideal for breakout rooms!

Paddock Restaurant

Paddock Restaurant

The Paddock Restaurant is our flagship raceday restaurant, with stunning floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Parade Ring. Located on the first floor of the Sussex Stand, there is an inbuilt projector and screen within this facility. The Paddock Restaurant also has its own PA system with a wireless microphone.

Southdown Bar & Café

The Southdown Bar & Café is a unique and flexible space located on the ground floor of the Southdown Stand. Designed with a practical U-shaped layout, the space is perfectly suited for a variety of uses. It features multiple TV screens and can easily accommodate dual-purpose events—such as hosting a meeting in one section while using the other as a breakout or dining area.

Paddock Bar

The Paddock Bar is a distinctive space with horse racing décor including framed jockey silks. Located on the ground floor of the Sussex Stand, this space is adjacent to the parade ring which makes it an ideal location for dual-purpose events where an indoor and nearby outdoor space is required. This facility has its own toilet block, including an accessible toilet.

Chasers Bar

The Chasers Bar is a charming, pub-themed space that brings vintage appeal to any event. Locate on the ground floor of the Lewes Stand, this versatile space is often used in addition to the Final Fence Marquee, or Lewes Stand Private Boxes for events where multiple nearby rooms are required.

Chasers Bar
Final Fence Restaurant

The Final Fence Marquee

Our beautiful permanent marquee, known as the Final Fence Restaurant, sits right by the last jump - making it a standout location for summer events, away days, and private celebrations.

 

With flexible open-plan space and uninterrupted views across the course, it brings the outdoors in while offering protection from the elements. A blank canvas for your event, it can be fully tailored with your choice of layout, décor, and catering.

Annual Members Room

The Annual Members Room is a cosy space located on the ground floor of the Southdown Stand. This facility is also connected to the Paddock Bar, ideal for dual-purpose events.

Centre Course

If you're planning an active, outdoor event - from team building challenges to food festivals or product demonstrations - our Centre Course offers acres of open green space with the South Downs as your backdrop. It’s a blank canvas with plenty of room to think big, and is ideal for marquees, wellness retreats, or large-scale corporate fun days.

Private Boxes

Private Boxes at Plumpton Racecourse are a popular choice and are in high demand during our racing season. Outside of racedays, these rooms are the perfect space for small meetings or as breakout rooms alongside hire of our Owner & Trainers Lounge. Each box has a TV which can be used for presentations (HDMI cable required) and are located on the first floor of our Southdown Stand, and the second floor of our Lewes Stand. With beautiful views overlooking the racetrack and a private balcony, our private boxes offer a peaceful setting away from the office.
