Charlotte Savill was a beautiful, vibrant and compassionate young woman whose life was tragically cut short at the age of 22 by Fibrolamellar Liver Cancer (FLC), a rare and agressive disease primarily affecting young people.

Despite enduring multiple surgeries, extensive trans-atlantic travel for treatment, and months of chemotherapy, Charlotte remained positive and selfless throughout her battle.

Her story highlights the urgent need for funding and research into FLC as pharmaceutical companies often neglect rare diseases, leaving families reliant on fundraising and private donations to support the search for a cure.

Our fixture on Monday 17th November combines seven brilliant races with key fundraising for the Charlotte Savill Memorial Foundation.
