Founded by husband-and-wife duo Jen and James just over the Sussex border, Kalm Kitchen is a family-run business with more than 17 years of experience delivering unforgettable hospitality across the South East. Known for their seasonal menus, eye-catching presentation, and exceptional service, Kalm Kitchen shares Plumpton’s values of sustainability, quality, and a community-first approach.
The couple’s journey began during a shared gap year that sparked a passion for food and events. James later trained at the prestigious Tante Marie Culinary Academy and honed his craft with a leading London caterer, while Jen brought a love of interiors and antiques to the visual side of the business. Today, their team is known for combining flavour, creativity, and care to create experiences that feel personal, polished, and deeply thoughtful.
Kalm Kitchen will take over all food and drink services at the racecourse, including race day hospitality, private events, and non-raceday hires – helping elevate every aspect of the visitor experience with a commitment to seasonal ingredients, sustainable sourcing, and exceptional service.
