We are delighted to be able to welcome racegoers back to Plumpton for the 2020 December fixtures – we haven’t seen you since March!

Whilst it will be lovely to have you on course, it won’t quite be the same experience as you are used too and social distancing will still be in place. We have created a Code of Conduct that everyone on site must abide by and so please do make sure you are familiar with these details before coming to the site.

For these fixtures, all tickets will be in advance only and so you will not be able to purchase tickets on the day. All members of your party must have provided details in advance for track and trace purposes (whereas previously there would just have been the bookers details required). Please ensure you do this at the point of booking and as ID will be checked at the entrances, please do only enter correct information that can be shown via your ID. We also encourage everyone to travel to the raceday in private transport wherever possible.

Plumpton is in a Tier 2 area and so the maximum booking size is for 6 people, although if you were to go indoors this reduces down to being sat with your own household only or those in your support bubble. Six people can remain in a group outside (respecting social distancing guidelines) but as you are likely to spend more time outdoors than at a normal fixture, please do ensure that you are dressed for the weather and wrap up warm. Please note that face masks are mandatory at these fixtures and must be worn at all times except when seated to eat and/or drink.

With regards to getting here – please do have some patience as driving in is likely to be a slower than normal process. Both entrances will be open, the railway entrance and the normal facility at the South end of the course, although there are some layout changes to the South entrance and so please follow our stewards directions. We encourage everyone to use private transport.

Our on-course facilities are open but we are limited in what we can serve. Please note that whilst you can purchase alcohol from some bars, all food and drink must be consumed whilst seated. Our facilities will be open as follows:

Paddock Restaurant – 3 course choice menu, table for the day and must be booked in advance.

Paddock Bar – Alcohol and soft drinks to be sold alongside Pies, Sausage Rolls and Stew.

The toilets will be in use for the General Public and the William Hill bookmakers desk open.

Southdown Stand – The Bar will be closed, but the Southdown Deli will be open to serve take-away drinks and snacks.

Rear of the Southdown Stand – the Coffee hut will be open for service.

Marquee – Undercover seating area – no catering available.

Lewes Stand – Internal – bar will open for alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, as well as a small selection of food.

Centre Course – there will be a small area where cars will be parked but where we will also put up a small marquee, toilets and a bookmaker so that those who wish to remain in their vehicle and/or not be amongst the larger numbers can still enjoy the day with us.

We will put some extra covered areas up for inclement weather and some extra seating for outdoor areas, so please ensure you are wrapped up for the day.
