GUESTS WITH ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS
We look forward to welcoming you to Plumpton Racecourse.
We aim to attract a wide range of visitors to all of our race meetings and events and welcome all people in society, irrespective of age, race, physical ability, intellect or sensory ability.
We have a range of facilities and amenities and are continually working towards raising standards in visitor facilities and customer care. In order to achieve this, we constantly review all forms of access and strive to demonstrate best practice in the management of our properties, in the services we provide, and towards the people we employ.
We carry out access audits to help identify areas where improvements are required and look at solutions to the issues raised. We not only want to comply with relevant legislation, but also to go further in providing a top quality experience for all visitors. We will endeavor to ensure that accessible people are not treated any less favorably, and that ‘reasonable adjustments’ are made where appropriate and possible through sensitive and creative solutions.
Where access to certain properties and amenities is not possible for various reasons alternative services will, wherever possible, assist in overcoming these restrictions.

Car Parking and Arrival
There are two designated accessible (blue badge) car parking areas at Plumpton Racecourse. The first of these is on tarmac and situated in the main public car park and approximately 10 metres to the nearest entrance. The second car parking area is in the centre of the course and on grass, situated next to the racecourse crossing point and opposite the Paddock.
To access these car parks, please display your parking permit – the car must contain the person named on the permit. These spaces are available on a first come first served basis – once they are full, our staff will park you in the next closest accessible location.
We also have a designated drop off point at the South Entrance by the South entrance.
