The Tom George-trained Forgot To Ask landed the feature Class 3 Handicap Chase in 2021 under Jonathan Burke

Join us for the Sky Sports Racing Spring Raceday on Monday 21st March for some brilliant National Hunt action to follow the Cheltenham Festival. Over £67.5k in prize-money is up for grabs across the six-race card and the feature contest is the 3m1½f Class 3 Handicap Chase.

Won by Forgot To Ask behind closed doors last year, this £17k race is open to horses rated between 0-125 and it provides a stern test to each horse's jumping ability with 17 flights to clear. We have two other chases for you to enjoy on the day – a £14k contest over 2m3½f furlongs and another over the longer distance of 3m1½f – plus a Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle for the future Queens of racing!

There is a lovely selection of local and national drinks available from our three racecourse bars and bean to cup coffee from the Southdown Stand, which also serves deli-style food. There are catering concessions serving pizzas, burgers and tacos behind the grandstands for you to enjoy, while pies and light refreshments can be purchased from the Paddock Bar and Chasers Bar.

Why not enjoy the action in style by joining us in our premier dining option - the Paddock Restaurant. Priced at £75pp, the Paddock Restaurant package includes an à la carte three course meal, welcome drink, table for the day, complimentary racecard and table service. It is situated in a perfect position, next to the paddock and opposite the winning post, right at the heart of the action! Enjoy the action from a private balcony reserved exclusively for restaurant guests.
