And so here it is, the end of my first season here at Plumpton and one that created many memorable moments for me, but hopefully for you as well. That said, my absolute favourite was still seeing Josh Moore getting clapped into the weighing room when leaving the parade ring after his brilliant winning ride on Leo Luna here on the 29th January.
May has come around and that only means one thing here at Plumpton; the season is over. For me personally, it is the end of my first season at Plumpton. It has flown by and really has been a roller coaster of a journey, with 10 racedays in 5 months, including 2 abandonments,
The sun was shining as Ladies Day brought the 2017-18 season to a close at Plumpton. Champion Conditonal James Bowen enjoyed a double, including in the final of the Racing Excellence Conditional Training Race Series on board Brave Eagle for boss Nicky Henderson.
The inaugural Sussex Raceday showcased plenty of what the region has to offer and the seven-race card produced some exciting action.
